Emerald is an instantly recognizable stallion, known for his striking markings, but it is his exceptional talent that has solidified his place among the greats. Renowned for his scope, carefulness, balance, conformation, intelligence, and outstanding personality, Emerald continues to captivate the showjumping world with his brilliance.

Performance

From a young age, Emerald demonstrated his world-class ability. As a six-year-old, he was Reserve Champion at the World Championships for Young Horses, foreshadowing his future success. Just five years later, he represented the Netherlands at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and was a finalist. His career highlights include a runner-up finish in the World Cup Final in Gothenburg and numerous international Grand Prix victories alongside his rider, Harrie Smolders.

In 2018, Emerald continued his dominance on the global stage with:

Emerald’s sire, Diamant de Semilly, is one of the most influential stallions in modern showjumping. He topped the WBFSH Sire Rankings in 2016 and consistently ranked in the top ten since 2012. As a competitor, he was French National Champion, a World Equestrian Games (WEG) team gold medalist in 2002, and a European team silver medalist in 2003. His exceptional athleticism, power, and balance have made him a sought-after sire.
