Performance Career
Untouchable competed at the elite level of international show jumping, reaching 1.60m Grand Prix under renowned riders including Daniel Deusser and Doda de Miranda. With Deusser, he delivered standout performances including a 6th place finish in the CSI5* World Cup qualifiers in both Helsinki and Mechelen. He claimed victory in the CSI4* Puissance in Vienna and placed third in the Global Champions Tour 1.50m Grand Prix in Valencia with Doda de Miranda. Additional top results at the 1.60m level came in La Coruña, Paris, and Rio de Janeiro, solidifying his status as a world-class competitor.
Sire Line
Untouchable is by the influential French stallion Hors La Loi II, who competed internationally with Rodrigo Pessoa and comes from the illustrious Bourrée lineage. This line has produced top horses such as Outlaw (full brother to Hors La Loi II), Lepol du Plessis, Narcotique, and Haram d’Auvers. Hors La Loi II has sired over 20 horses who have competed at 1.60m level, including Valent, Val d’Isere, and Verdi III, all of whom have had consistent success at the international level.
Dam Line
Untouchable’s maternal line is equally impressive, packed with high-performance blood. His dam, Promesse, also produced the promising young stallion Escape Z, currently competing at 1.45m with Harrie Smolders. Promesse’s dam, Chablis, and her full-sister Hella XXVII, both competed at 1.50m level. This exceptional mare line has also produced Olympic stallion Clinton, as well as notable names like Cardero, Cristallo, Cadett, Livingstone, and Champs Élysées. Further back, his third sire Carthago was a two-time Olympian and one of the most influential stallions in modern sport horse breeding, known for siring over 100 licensed sons and more than 150 Grand Prix jumpers including Mylord Carthago, Old Chap Tame, and Cash 63.
