KASANOVA DE LA POMME

The 2013 BWP Stallion Approval Champion, Kasanova, boasts an exceptional pedigree as a son of the renowned sire Bamako de Muze and the elite international Grand Prix mare Everlychin de la Pomme. His dam also produced the late Latour VDM, another BWP champion stallion, whose career was tragically cut short.

Initially trained by Karline De Brabander, Kasanova has risen to the pinnacle of show jumping under Koen Vereecke. Among their numerous accomplishments, a standout moment was their double clear performance and victory in the Nations Cup Final in Barcelona. They also delivered flawless rounds in Falsterbo and Hickstead, earning the title of Best Belgian Combination in the 2022 Nations Cups.

Kasanova’s progeny are already proving their potential. His oldest offspring, born in 2014, are making waves in the sport. H5 Origi Horta and Oklahoma van de Zelm are competing successfully at the 1.50m level, while Olympic van het Merrethof has reached 1.45m. With such promising young talent, Kasanova appears well on his way to following in Bamako’s legendary footsteps as a top breeding stallion.
